Romanian judge rules on extradition of Tate brothers

A Romanian court has ruled that controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother can be extradited to the UK, but only after the conclusion of their separate trial in Romania on human trafficking charges

37-year-old Andrew Tate, and 35-year-old Tristan Tate were detained in Bucharest on Monday after Bedfordshire Police said it had obtained an arrest warrant.

According to BBC News, they were released from custody following the judge’s ruling.

They will remain under judicial controls in Romania which prevent them travelling outside the country.

The warrant from Bedfordshire Police is part of an investigation into allegations of rape and human trafficking dating back to 2012-2015.

Romanian authorities are investigating separate allegations of rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal gang.

The brothers have denied all the charges.
