Several documents were reportedly stolen from the Licensing Office in Caroni overnight.

Police say around 2:45am, a security officer reported to Caroni Police that he saw a glass pane on the northern side of the building broken, and the cash register drawers were open.

Police visited the scene and saw the reception area of the office ransacked.

Nothing of monetary value from the building was taken, but clerks discovered several documents, not yet determined, missing.

CSI visited and checked for prints while Cpl. Phillip is continuing enquiries.
