Minister: EU agrees to help T&T in green hydrogen, wind energy

The European Union has agreed to work with T&T in developing a green hydrogen economy and the utilization of wind energy.

This is according to Energy Minister Stuart Young who visited Brussels, Belgium from February 26th to 28th to have discussions with executives of the European Union Commission.

He says talks also focused on T&T partnering with the EU and EU-based multinational oil and gas companies to execute a potentially significant gas project.

That project, the Minister adds, has its foundation in being a climate friendly reduction of methane and decarbonisation.

Minister Young is now in Algeria for the upcoming 7th Gas Exporting Countries Forum Summit.
