On Wednesday, February 21st 2024, persons served by the Freeport Water Treatment Plant will see a disruption in their water supply.

According to WASA, this is also to facilitate planned maintenance works at the facility.

The disruption will run from 9am to 5pm.

Areas to be affected include Freeport Todd’s Road, Brasso & Pepper Village, Gran Couva, San Pedro and environs, Chickland and environs, Preysal, Balmain, Calcutta #1 & #2, La Vega, Tortuga, Mayo and Siewdass Road .

WASA says following the completion of these works, it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the supply to normalize in some affected areas.
