A 31-year-old man was shot dead during a confrontation at the KFC Gasparillo outlet last night.

Two men got into a verbal confrontation which escalated and turned physical despite the efforts of an on-duty security guard.

The victim, Luka Goring of Marabella, allegedly stabbed the other man, who then pulled out a firearm and shot him several times.

He reportedly died at the scene while the suspect fled  in.
