Two suspected marijuana cultivators have been held as police destroyed thousands of full-grown trees in East Trinidad.
Between 4am and 6pm yesterday, officers ventured over 12 kilometres into a forested area off Romain Trace in Guaico, where they allegedly came across a camp.
Two men were seen tending to a field with approximately 1,024 fully grown trees.
They also allegedly seized a Draco Rifle fitted with a laser and seven rounds of 7.62 ammunition.
