Three persons are now in custody after police recovered a stolen vehicle and vehicle parts in separate incidents.
Around 5:30pm on Saturday a search warrant was executed at a garage in 6th Company Village, Princes Town where officers found two separate Hyundai/Kia engines, two cabs, and a tray belonging to Hyundai H100 vehicles.
Two self-employed straighteners, aged 51 and 49, were arrested.
Also, earlier that day, officers intercepted a vehicle with false plates along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, in the vicinity of the Torouba Overpass.
Checks revealed that the vehicle was stolen from St. Clair on August 26th 2023.
The driver, a 22-year-old from Gulf View, La Romain, was arrested.
