West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph will join Peshawar Zalmi for the 2024 Pakistan Super League.

It comes after his match-winning spell against Australia at the Gabba on Sunday, which helped the Windies to their first Test victory in Australia in nearly 27 years.

According to ESPN Cricinfo, while Joseph was announced by Zalmi as a partial replacement for England fast bowler Gus Atkinson, he is expected to remain with the team for the entirety of the tournament – even after Atkinson joins.

Atkinson is currently with the England Test squad in India for the five-match series that runs till March 11th.

The 2024 PSL will run from February 17th to March 18th 2024.
