The families of the four divers who died in the 2022 Paria pipeline tragedy gathered outside the company in Pointe-a-Pierre this morning.
The area’s MP, David Lee, who joined the gathering, says it was an awareness protest as they refuse let the Paria board forget what was published in the Lynch Commission of Enquiry report.
The report, laid in Parliament last Friday, contains a list of recommendations including charging Paria with Corporate Manslaughter.
Mr Lee says Paria must sit down and discuss monetary compensation for the families of the divers.
Mr Lee insists that if progress is not made, another protest will be held next Thursday with greater numbers.
