Guyana’s President has confirmed a ferry service between Guyana and T&T.

Over the weekend, Dr Irfaan Ali shared photos of the Galleons Passage on his official Facebook page.

The same post was also shared on the Facebook page for the Office of the President of Guyana.

Dr Ali said the vessel would be operating between Guyana and Trinidad, and later Barbados.

He went on to highlight the vessel’s capacity and amenities, saying it can accommodate 400 passengers and 60 cars, and includes onboard facilities such as a cafeteria, a bar and a VIP lounge.
