Quantities of marijuana and ammunition were found during anti-crime exercises across the country yesterday.

In Tobago, officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force executed a search warrant at a house in Scarborough where they found 12 packets containing 5.9 kilograms of marijuana.

The drug has an estimated street value of $472,000.

Two suspects, a man and woman, were arrested.

Meanwhile, in the Central Division, officers went to the fish market in Claxton Bay where they found 30 rounds of ammunition.

The same party of officers then went to the Chaguanas district where they found 465 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $7,500.

Three male suspects ages, 18 to 21, were held.

Finally, Task Force officers found and seized a firearm in Longdenville.

The find was made at Ravine Sable Road.
