Hochoy Charles laid to rest

The late Hochoy Charles has been laid to rest.

Mr Charles passed away on Sunday after ailing for some time.

His funeral was held today at the Shaw Park Complex, Tobago and attended by a number of dignitaries, including President Christine Kangaloo, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, and THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine.

Tributes were also made by family, friends, colleagues and the country’s leaders, while the sermon was delivered by Christopher Berkeley -Oversight Coordinator – Congress World Breakthrough Network – Praise Centre.

Persons can sign the Condolence Book for Mr Charles at the Assembly Legislature in Tobago.

The book will be accessible between 8am and 4pm on Friday.

Mr Charles was appointed as the THA’s first Chief Secretary in 1996 and served as a Government Senator and Parliamentary Secretary under the NAR.
