The 69th Filmfare Awards will be held on January 28th 2024 in Gujarat.

The annual event honours artistic and technical excellence in the Hindi-language film industry of India.

Next year’s edition will honour films released in 2023.

Earlier this year, Gujarat Tourism Corporation Limited and Worldwide Media Pvt Ltd (A Times Group Company) signed a memorandum of understanding for the awards ceremony.

The landmark move will see the state host the prestigious Filmfare Awards ceremony for the very first time.

The awards were introduced by Filmfare magazine in 1954, the same year as the National Film Awards.
