Oropouche East MP Dr Roodal Moonilal has pledged to have a “fitting tribute” to the late Penal/Debe Regional Corporation Chairman Diptee Ramnath.

Mr Ramnath passed away last Friday and was laid to rest yesterday.

He served the corporation for over 30 years and was councillor for Quinam / Morne Diabl0 – he was appointed corporation chairman earlier this year. 

The corporation said he contributed significantly to the development of people and distribution of goods and services.

Dr. Moonilal, who attended Mr Ramnath’s funeral yesterday, pledged to discuss a fitting tribute for his legacy, his dedication and his service to the people.
