Céline Dion’s sister says the pop star does not have control of her muscles as she continues to battle stiff person syndrome (SPS).
A year ago, the Dion was diagnosed with the rare neurological disorder.
In May, she announced she was canceling her 2023-2024 world tour to “build back strength”.
Stiff-person syndrome causes people to develop “abnormal, often hunched-over postures” and occasionally affects people’s ability to walk.
According to Forbes, her sister Claudette Dion said Céline has lost control of her muscles but is working hard with aspirations of returning to stage.
