West Indies captain Rovman Powell is not too concerned about the team’s death bowling, ahead of today’s fourth T20I against England.
England kept the five-match series alive with a seven-wicket win last Saturday in Grenada, hitting 18 sixes on their way to 226/3 in 19.5 overs.
Speaking to CWI Media, Powell said countering England’s six hitting in the Trinidad leg of the series comes down to the bowlers pulling off their plans.
He also touched on the death bowling, noting that there is still some work to be done but gave his bowling unit a vote of confidence.
Today’s fourth T20I bowls off at 4pm at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
The series wraps up with the fifth T20I on Thursday at the same venue.
