Veteran Bollywood actor Tanuja has been discharged from hospital.

The 80-year-old was admitted to the intensive care unit of a Juhu hospital on Sunday evening following age-related complications.

However, The Indian Express says she was discharged late on Monday since “all her health parameters were normal.”

Tanuja is known for her roles in Hindi and Bengali films in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including “Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi” , “Jewel Thief” and “Paisa Ya Pyaar”.

She is a recipient of two Filmfare Awards and is also the mother of  actors Kajol and Tanishaa Mukerji.
