A 26-year-old Sangre Grande man has been charged with the October murder of Marvin Matthew Joseph.

Joseph was last seen alive on CCTV footage entering a white Nissan Almera along Tragarete Road on October 15th, 2023.

Following investigations, a suspect was arrested on October 29th, 2023.

Tje Baird was charged with murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice and was not called upon to plea when he appeared in court.

He is scheduled to return to court in January 2024.
