T&T Chamber Tobago Division working with Port on sea bridge “challenges”

The T&T Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s Tobago Division says it has been working with the Port Authority to address sea bridge challenges.

A meeting was held in September with the Works Minister and other stakeholders in which details were shared about a hectic 2023-2024 cruise ship season.

The Chamber says since then, it has been in regular communication with the Port Authority to devise a plan to facilitate seamless docking for the Cabo Star, while accommodating cruise ships.

It notes that coming out of the collaboration is an introduction of additional sailings on Saturdays and the mobilization of the Galleons Passage to assist in transportation of cargo to Tobago when cruise ships are berthed in Port of Spain.
