A four-year-old boy was reportedly hit by a stray bullet during a shooting incident that left a 29-year-old man dead.

A report by Guardian Media says the incident occurred while Shaquille Williams was liming with others in La Puerta, Diego Martin around 6:40pm yesterday.

The victim was allegedly chased and killed by two gunmen after being cornered in a yard.

The suspects were reportedly confronted by a policeman but managed to escape.

The little boy was wounded in the chaos and said to be in a stable condition.
