40 of T&T’s students placed 1st in the region in their respective subjects in the June 2023 CAPE Examinations.
This is according to the Education Ministry, which today released statistics relating to the June CSEC and CAPE Exams.
It says in CAPE Unit 1, T&T candidates placed 1st in 58% of the subjects attempted, while in CAPE Unit 2 T&T’s candidates placed 1st in 52% of the subjects attempted.
Five students were also named among the top performers in the CAPE Regional Merit Listing.
Five students will also be awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for Outstanding Performance in the June 2023 CAPE Accounting Exams.
Additionally, three CAPE candidates from T&T were also named for the 2023 CAPE Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Awards.
Meanwhile, at the CSEC Level, T&T students placed 1st in the region in 15 of the 37 CSEC subjects taken in the June 2023 Exams.
Mathieu Beharry of Naparima College and Jada Augustine of SAGHS are among the 2023 ACCA CSEC Accounting Awardees.
