PM accuses Opposition of playing politics with crime

There is still no word on proposed crime talks between the Government and the Opposition, and Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is accusing those on the other side of playing politics.

During a media briefing today, Dr Rowley said the Opposition has taken issue with his decision not to participate directly, and with the AG’s designation as the person responsible for convening the talks.

He then made allegations as to the Opposition’s motive.

Meanwhile, regarding the recent CARICOM-Saudi Arabia Summit, the PM says the venture was a success.

Dr Rowley also spoke about efforts to make it easier for Caribbean nationals to travel to Saudi Arabia.
