A 24-year-old man has been held for allegedly chopping his boss.

Around 11am yesterday, November 19th 2023, the victim was in his office at his business place in Rio Claro when the suspect entered and began attacking him with a cutlass.

The business owner sustained serious injuries to the back of his neck and left hand.

He was reportedly treated and discharged.

The suspect then fled the scene after the attack but was held shortly after.

Police also seized the weapon believed to have been used in the attack.
