Police are investigating a murder in Valencia.

Around 4:45pm on Saturday, officers at the Valencia Police Post received reports of of loud explosions at Paradise Circular, Benny Road.

A team of officers from the Valencia CID under the supervision of Inspector Ramkissoon went to the location, where they found a security door that had been forced open.

They subsequently found the body of  48-year-old Henry Jobe.

He had been shot several times in the face and body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
