Two bodies were found after a house fire in Warner Village, Charlieville this morning.
Around 12:36am, fire officials were alerted to a blaze along Cemetery Street.
Responding officers were able to extinguish the flames that had engulfed the small wooden structure.
They subsequently discovered the charred remains of two persons.
Due to the conditions of the bodies, no ID or information on the victims have been confirmed.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.
Meanwhile, with Divali being observed this weekend, the Fire Service is urging caution.
It is advising persons against leaving open flames unattended or overloading electrical circuits or extensions.
Adults are also urged to ensure proper supervision children, especially if handling items such as starlight.
