WASA says repairs to a ruptured pipeline in Macoya have led to an unplanned water interruption in a number of communities.

Areas being affected include St Augustine South, Macoya Gardens, Pasea Village, Trincity Industrial Estate, Macoya Industrial Estate, Monte Grande and the UWI.

WASA says the expected restoration time is 4pm today.

Across in Tobago, another unplanned water interruption is underway due to mechanical issues at the Richmond Water Treatment Plant.

Areas being affected include Goodwood, Goldsborough, Pembroke, Glamorgan, Richmond, Belle Garden, Kendal, Argyle, Roxborough, Betsy’s Hope and Louis D’Or.

Expected restoration time is at 4pm today.
