Atlantic LNG recently hosted a delegation from the Malaysian state-owned energy company, PETRONAS.
According to the company, the visit was part of a two-day knowledge sharing energy sector visit to T&T.
The delegation received an overview of Atlantic’s business and processing operations, and was also given a tour of the plant.
Among those accompanying the executives was Energy Minister Stuart Young, who said, “I am particularly proud of Atlantic LNG, its management, staff, and facilities as all are world class. This was recognized by our guests from Petronas who are a leader in LNG globally. Atlantic is critical to Trinidad & Tobago and we have worked hard to ensure its future viability and success.”
This statement was echoed by Atlantic CEO Ron Adams, who said his company is looking forward to deepening relationships with PETRONAS.
The visiting PETRONAS representatives included: COO Adnan Zainol Abidin, SVP Abang Yusuf Abang Puteh, Senior GM M Yusof Abdullah, and Executive Assistant to COO Mohd Aimran Mohamed.
