A body found in Arima yesterday has been identified as that of Carapo resident Dexter Greaves.

Search and rescue officials carried out efforts to locate a man who was caught on CCTV cameras being swept away by a flooded drain in Malabar on Monday.

After a body was found around 12:45pm yesterday near Printeryville, relatives identified the victim as 52-year-old Dexter Greaves.

When the incident occurred on Monday, residents initially thought the victim was a homeless man.

However, the street dweller has since been found alive.
