A 37-year-old man has been arrested for marijuana cultivation and possession.

Police say they went to a house at Boisserre, Maraval between 1pm and 3pm yesterday and executed a search warrant for arms and ammunition.

They discovered eight marijuana plants, lamps, other paraphernalia and two separate quantities of marijuana which weighed 124 grams.

The suspect was held and taken to the Besson Street Police Station along with the seized items.
