A number of WASA’s water treatment facilities have been impacted by the inclement weather experienced yesterday.

In a statement at 9am today, the company says flooded river conditions and high turbidity led to clogged intake screens at nine facilities across Northeast Trinidad.

WASA notes that it is making efforts to return the facilities to service at the earliest possible time.
