The Telecommunications Authority of T&T says it is “disturbed” by the TSTT data breaches.

TATT says it is mindful of the potential adverse implications this matter may have on consumer confidentiality.

As such, it says it has been in discussion with the affected provider on what transpired and measures to be introduced to prevent a recurrence.

It is also recommending as a precautionary measure, that consumers should adopt the practice of not saving their passwords or credit and debit card data to websites.
