Operations should normalize soon at the Pt Lisas Desalination Plant, according to WASA’s Acting CEO Kelvin Romain.
The facility was shut down last week for maintenance, with operations restarting on Sunday at 90% of its output capacity.
This week however, customers in several areas reported that they were yet to receive a supply.
Mr Romain told 103.1FM News that Desalcott had some water supply issues, with WASA having to make adjustments to compensate.
The Desal Plant is privately owned by Desalcott, which supplies water to WASA on a contractual basis.
