Yannic Cariah took a 5-wicket haul and made 45 not out as T&T Red Force beat Leeward Islands Hurricanes in their Super50 Cup clash.

Cariah’s 5/48 helped bowl out Leewards for 198 in 37.2 overs at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

Sunil Narine grabbed 3/30 and Terrance Hinds took 2/24.

Cariah then contributed an unbeaten 102-ball 45 and had a crucial unbroken partnership with Narine who added 33 not out from 16 balls.

Jason Mohammed made 41 from 49 as T&T got 199/7 in 45.4 overs – victory by three wickets.

Cariah has been in fine form in the Super50 Cup – yesterday’s five wickets followed a five-wicket haul and an unbeaten 71 against Guyana last Friday and a 4-wicket haul against Windwards last Wednesday.
