T&T Red Force captain Darren Bravo made 81* in 84 balls in the opening Super50 Cup match, but rain forced a no-result from the encounter with Combined Campuses and Colleges.
Batting first at the Queen’s Park Oval in a rain-reduced match, T&T made 246/4 in 44 overs with Bravo leading the way.
There were also scores of 48 from Joshua Da Silva and 43 from Jason Mohammed.
CCC’s reply was cut short at 53/0 after 6.4 overs due to rain with the game eventually declared a no-result.
At the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Guyana Harpy Eagles pulled off a tense win by 10 runs over Windward Islands Volcanoes, with a runout sealing the win.
Guyana made 229/9 in 50 overs before restricting Windwards to 219 all out in 46 overs.
Next for T&T is a clash with the Windward Islands on Thursday at the Oval from 9am.
