Persons served by the Freeport Water Treatment Plant will see an interruption in their water supply this Sunday, October 15th 2023.

WASA says this is to facilitate pipeline interconnection works at the facility.

The disruption will run from of 6am to 10pm.

Areas to be affected are: Calcutta #1, Calcutta #2, Calcutta #3, Chickland Road, San Francisco, Mission Road, Polo Ground Road, Mowlah Trace, Sapatay, Mayo Road, Tortuga, Central Park, Lower Couva Road, Caratal #1, Cotton Hill, School Trace, Pepper Village, La Vega, Siewdass Road, Preysal, Melanie Gardens, Sesame Street, Powdharie Street.

WASA adds that it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas, which includes the water supply schedules to some areas.
