The International Olympic Committee has put forward the proposal for cricket at the 2028 Games in LA to its Executive Board.

The LA28 organizing committee had proposed T20 cricket among five additions for the Games.

The IOC has since said that the proposals were reviewed and have been put forward to the Executive Board.

ESPNcricinfo says the next step will be for the IOC to vote at its upcoming session in Mumbai from October 14th to 16th.
