Finance Minister has defended the budget and the government’s fiscal management, saying that 28,000 jobs were created in the first six months of 2023.
Speaking again during the Budget Debate in the House of Representatives, he criticized Opposition MPs for what he described as their weak contributions.
He went on to a breakdown of the jobs created this year.
Mr Imbert also claimed that the latest budget has been accepted by the population.
The budget debate has concluded in the Lower House, with the Standing Finance Committee to sit tomorrow to discuss the various Heads of Expenditure.
