The THA’s Division of Education says there has an unfortunate wave of break-ins at schools across Tobago.

In a statement, it says affected schools are in the process of evaluating the extent of property damage and stolen items.

In addition to immediate steps to enhance security measures, it says parents, teachers, and community members are also being asked to report any suspicious activity around school premises.

The Division believes the impact of the break-ins extends beyond financial losses, saying they are also a blow to the trust and sense of security for the educational community.
