Nepal’s cricketers have broken a number of records as the team has become the first to score over 300 runs in a T20 innings.
Nepal made 314/3 against Mongolia in the Asian Games, surpassing the previous highest T20 total of 278/3 scored by Afghanistan in 2019.
Meanwhile, Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee took just nine balls to make his fifty – the fastest in all T20s, beating the previous record of 12 balls jointly held by Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle and Hazratullah Zazai.
Kushal Malla took 34 balls to make his century – the fastest in T20 Internationals.
Mongolia were then bowled out for 41 in their chase of 315 with the 273-run margin of victory being the highest in terms of runs in all T20s.
