A house was damaged by fire in St Augustine this morning.

The blaze began shortly before 8am in the structure located along Rovee Drive, off the Southern Main Road.

Responding fire officers were reportedly able to extinguish the flames and keep it from spreading to nearby houses.

No one was injured.
