Two horses have been stolen from Bonanza Farm in Arima.

103.1FM News spoke with owner Ed De Freitas who says the bandits came around 3am on Wednesday morning.

A caretaker on the compound was assaulted, with the perpetrators escaping with the two horses and a wacker.

This incident follows another about one week earlier, in which another horse went missing, along with a bouncy castle.

Mr De Freitas says while reports have been made to police, efforts to locate the stolen horses have begun.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the animals is asked to call the nearest police station.
