Concerns have been raised about the homeschooling sub-policy of the Education Policy by the Homeschool Association of T&T.

At last evening’s EduTalk forum hosted by the Education Ministry at El Dorado West Secondary School, issues were raised by the Association’s Corporate Secretary Fiona Rajkumar.

She noted that there was an influx of people wanting to homeschool their children following the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, she believes the sub-policy needs work.

In response, Education Minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly said the policy was formulated to cast the widest net.
