T&T’s AC Port of Spain narrowly lost to Martinique’s Golden Lion in Group A of the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup last evening.

Golden Lion were two goals up by the 16th minute, before AC Port of Spain completed a comeback in the 68th minute to make it 2-2.

However, an 83rd-minute goal from the penalty spot for Golden Lion proved to be decisive and leaves AC Port of Spain winless after three games.

AC Port of Spain next face fellow T&T club Defence Force, who are second in Group A, on September 28th in Port of Spain.

Defence Force have four points from one win and one draw.

The top two teams from Group A and Group B advance to the semifinals of the tournament.
