A 55-year-old PE teacher at St. Mary’s College in Port of Spain died after being found unresponsive on the compound yesterday.

Police were called to the school around 5pm, as Joel Garcia was found in a room, after complaining of feeling unwell earlier in the day.

He was taken to hospital where he was declared dead.

Mr. Garcia has been described as a loving gentle giant and one who brought joy and happiness to those he interacted with .
