UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he’s ordered “urgent work” to ban American XL bully dogs.
This follows the death of a man in Staffordshire who was attacked by two dogs.
Though police have not confirmed the breed involved, the PM suggested that American XL bullies may have been responsible.
It’s clear the American XL Bully dog is a danger to our communities.

BBC News says the XL bully can weigh more than 60kg and is strong enough to overpower an adult.
Some animal groups have previously said that banning specific breeds is not the solution.
Instead, they are pointing to irresponsible breeding, rearing and ownership as the issues.
