Princes Town MP Barry Padarath is lamenting that some communities have been without water for more than two months.

He says many parts of South and Central Trinidad have reached a critical stage as Regional Corporations were inundated with requests for truck borne water.

According to the MP, some areas still without water are Fyzabad, La Brea, Penal, Naparima, Siparia and San Fernando.

As a result, Mr Padarath is renewing his call for immediate short term relief measures such as additional truck borne water contractors to be hired by WASA, and emergency funding to Regional Corporations.
