An MP is calling on government to address issues at the Gasparillo Secondary School.

Ms Anita Haynes says in Parliament the Education Minister last Friday assured that most of the critical repairs have been undertaken at the school.

However, in a media release yesterday, she alleged that outstanding repairs required that Block B of the school be closed indefinitely.

She says 18 classrooms are out of use and students must attend classes on a rotational basis while repair works continue.

The MP is calling on the Education Ministry to display more urgency in addressing the issue of school infrastructure.
