A 15-member squad has been named for the West Indies Women’s tour to Australia in October.
And, following their clean sweep against Ireland Women in an ODI T20I Series in Saint Lucia earlier in the summer, the team remains unchanged under the leadership of Captain Hayley Matthews.
The six-matches in Australia will consist of three T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals.
The tour will be the first for new Head Coach Shane Deitz who arrived in the West Indies at the end of August.
In a statement, CWI says the inclusion of the ‘Rising Stars’ quartet of Ashmini Munisar, Djenaba Joseph, Zaida James, and Jannillea Glasgow will give some of the youngest talent in the team an opportunity to test their skills against the current T20I and 50-Over World Champions Australia.
