A headed goal by Justin Garcia saw T&T beat El Salvador 3-2 in CONCACAF Nations League action in El Salvador.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 17th minute before T&T went 2-1 up thanks to goals by Ryan Telfer and Malcolm Shaw in the 22nd and 51st minutes.

However, El Salvador drew level in the 53rd minute.

Then, in the 72nd minute, Garcia got his head to a freekick to loop the ball over the El Salvador goalkeeper and put T&T 3-2 up.

El Salvador pressed hard to get a late equalizer but T&T goalie Denzil Smith made three saves to secure three points which leave T&T top of League A – Group A with two wins in two games.

This was T&T’s first ever win in El Salvador.
