West Indies wicketkeeper/batter Nicholas Pooran has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for August.

Last month, Pooran was named Player of the Series after scoring 176 runs as the West Indies beat India 3-2 in their five-match T20i series.

He scored 47 in the fifth T20i in Lauderhill as West Indies chased 166 in just 18 overs to win the series decider.

Pooran has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award alongside Pakistan’s Shadab Khan and Babar Azam.
